1. Yes I saw him
He was forthright and firm about all the important issues regarding Iraq. He was coy about throwing his hat into the ring though. He will be a kick-ass VP candidate - there would be no stopping a Dean/Clark ticket.

2. Saw him yesterday-
Impressed by his levelheadness and concise ability to state the facts on the ground. The right mentality for Rumsfeld's chair....and easy on the eyes.

Graham was pretty good as well. Good VP material.

3. Yes Clark is easy on the eyes isn't he?
He was all bright eyed and bushy taled--I couldn't help but wonder what he would look like in six years following Bush if he were actually elected.

I didn't like that he said if he were president he would send troops to Liberia as well.

5. Transcript Link!
I wish Matt would have let him elaborate more on his opposition to the war in Iraq...had to pop the question before the interview ended.

6. He was VERY good!
I don't know how he'll come across in the transcripts, but he was cool, calm, didn't waffle on any of the questions Lauer asked him (well, I guess he did on whether he's running or not).
As for "troops to Liberia", he said "Yes" without hesitation, as long as they were part of a UN force. I agree with that concept (the US as peacekeeper in coalition WITH the world) even if Bushco (Inc.) has made us wary of ANY future involvement that includes troops.
All in all, a great way to start Today!
