Is there an Automobile that is truly Made-In-America?

If I were to buy a car and want an 100% American Car, what would I buy? Can I even get close?

My 1958 Oldsmobile that I am restoring can be called truly an American Car.

Car was Made here
Parts were made here
Car was assembled here
Company was owned here

What cars made today are closest to being an American Car?

It's built in Kansas City, most parts made in the US.
I think the batteries are made in Japan.

Good luck on restoring your car. I too have an American made car, I have a 1955 Chevy 210 sedan, and a 1955 Chevy pick-up both restored from the ground up. I would like to have a 1955 Chevy station-wagon
210 but the way my business has been sliding, thanks to our great leader I will put it off for now.

13. Cars have been made

in Canada since the beginning. More are built here than in Detroit.

It's just been announced we're getting another Toyota plant as well.

I remember when they introduced Saturn autos, they were pushing how it was American made, etc. I don't know where the parts are from.

Here's another question. Just what is an American car? Is it a car who's management is headquartered in the US and manufactured in Mexico? Or is it a foreign headquartered car that is manufactured in the US?

17. Saturns are assembled in Tennesee

by UAW workers. I don't know what % of the parts are manufactured domesticly, probably that's gone down since they have more parts in common with other GM nameplates than they used to.
