only the bad news gets reported on Iraq
so show us some good news. show happy, showered, air conditioned school children in a cafeteria eating chicken, rice and 2 fruits. show us the farmers harvesting their crops, the fishermen bringing in their full nets. show us Babylon and the street markets bustling with vendors and customers. SHOW US!

3. Funny reference
After the Tet offensive, some General actually complained that Walter Cronkite never reported on all the parts of Saigon that weren't on fire. Good on Jon Stewart for remembering.

5. Screw that, just show someone outside the Green Zone

simply walking down the street...

Or someone just driving a car between the airport and downtown.

4. "Building Schools" They used to have reports about this until
the press realized that they weren't building anything, simply putting on a thin coat of paint and replacing some window casements and charging the government millions per location.

7. CNN INTL
Is whoring it up this week, they are showing cyber cafes in Iraq.

Ourlocal newpaper though showed something that the USA media will NEVER show.

It was a picture of USA soliders in a room with cabel television, they were watching hard core porn, and sitting in the room with them were young kids!

This was about one year ago, they werent messing with the kids, but they probably should of thrown them out of the room.

8. A woman said this to my son
when he was home on leave the first time from Iraq. (he returned to Iraq in February). "The media isn't showing the good stuff". She kept pressing him to affirm her belief that so much good is being done there...and not being reported.
He didn't know this woman, only that she was a business associate of mine, so he was polite and said, repeatedly, that he really didn't like to discuss his tour while he was home.
"I'm just glad to be home". She didn't get the hint.

18. I remember a CSPAN caller about a year ago...
He said his grandson was in Iraq and he told him that they found vast underground networks in the sand and his CO just KNEW they were going to find the motherlode of WMD's. The grandson swore to his family that they were going to destroy the weapons to keep America safe.

I remember how emphatic and honest sounding the grandfather sounded.

I wonder if he and his grandson feel rage, shame, hatred or anything like that towards these liars now.

22. I know, but even dummies don't like to be duped.
No one likes being lied to and manipulated. I think they're all in deep denial and I hope idiotboy tries to pull more wool over their eyes tonight and it is the tipping point.

They might not admit it, but they'll turn on his ass eventually.

26. A woman who works with my husband
claims that our military actually found the WMD under the sand...and the reason this hasn't been reported is, get this, "they were just so horrible and worse than anyone imagined that if the news got out, there would be worldwide panic."
This woman makes six figures a year.
The mind boggles.

With the large supply of photos across the internet documenting the horrors it's obvious the real truth of the war is being ignored.
