Interesting that they tried to soften his image

Notice the screened back pattern of flags and seals that ressemble a country quilt. Notice the very pale blue tie. These were not chosen by accident, these pale colors and the quilt motif were deliberately chosen. Perhaps to soften his appearance while he was talking war?

Generally when the Commander in Chief speaks, the colors are very bright--bright red, bright blue...and they generally always wear a red-toned tie.
What it seems to me is that it is attempting to distract you away from his face while he talks---with the background and the tie. That is where your eyes go--not to him. It almost hurts to watch him intensely.
It also has a very surreal look to it. I am sure this is one of Rove's creations.
