Let's face it: Bush and his cult of followers CHEERED for 9/11
They loved it they were just joyful in the fact that predominately liberal cities (especially NYC) lost so many brothers and sisters.

"Serves em right for bein queer and (insert type of religion other than fundie Christian here____)!"

No I won't apologize because it is the truth. They loved it they savored it then they whored the tragedy for all it was worth to the sucker foaming of the mouth yahoos who actually voted for the piece of shit again.

7. you're all wrong.
The reason Bush is sinking in the polls right now and we are winning is because they have sunk to the exact type of tactics you guys are using now. If we stick with truth, we will win. What you are saying is not true. Sure NYC has liberals, but the people in the WTC were RICH. Claiming the republicans don't like the rich is just not true...And besides, I don't think that's the point here. 9-11 was a tragedy, take it at face value.
Also, the group in the back is god hates fags, led by Phelps and they are more hated on republican sites like freerepublic than than they are here:

11. you have to HAVE the truth before you can swallow it!
Nobody can indict Bush on complicity with 9-11 attacks. Speculating about the man behind the curtain should not distract you from the crimes right in front of your own face. The path to victory is to patiently move along the simple things. If there is a man behind the curtain, he will be revealed in the simple things in time.

I have contemplated the idea that 9-11 was a coup attempt. I have seen the evidence that seems to point this way. I have become aware that the best move forward is to focus on what is, not to get lost in speculation about what might be. In time what might be will reveal itself through what is.

16. well, one thing we DO know is that the "official" story of 9/11 . . .
doesn't make any sense . . . on any number of counts, and in all three locations (WTC, Pentagon, Pennsylvania) . . . given the real evidence, it is the LEAST likely explanation of what happened . . .

the photos and bios of the "hijackers" that appeared about 24 hours after the event has never been explained . . . nor the massive shorting of airline stock . . . nor about a thousand other things . . .

you're right . . . we have to HAVE the truth before we can swallow it . . . all we can do with the "official" story of 9/11 is choke on it . . .

17. Pretty much the official story was a crock of shit....
Let's just uncover what the hell happened on Downing Street and get the lies on record.

20. What do you do?
I know what you're saying...The question is What DID happen on 9/11? That's the part nobody really has the answers too. There is proof of some cover up type activities, yes. Did the government cover up information to hide their level of awareness of what really happened so the attackers wouldn't know how much we know, or was there something darker?

The point is, it doesn't matter. The best thing to do is to focus on whatever is in front of us, whatever we KNOW. Don't be manipulated by fear, and things that exist in the shadows cannot affect you. Not fearing things in the shadows will either draw them into the light, or doom them to irrelevance. Either way you will win.

26. That's what we're saying here...
But 9/11 was obviously allowed to happen. Even if it wasn't orchestrated there was some horrible intelligence failures on purpose.

28. there were intelligence failures
but I think it would be difficult to prove that there were intents going to the top, if intents could be proven. In Colleen Rowleys letter here:
http://www.apfn.org/apfn/WTC_whistleblower1.htm
we see lines like this:

In the Moussaoui case, it was the opposite -- the process allowed the Headquarters Supervisor to downplay the significance of the information thus far collected in order to get out of the work of having to see the FISA application through or possibly to avoid taking what he may have perceived as an unnecessary career risk

The scandal is that somebody didn't want to make a risky career move by issuing a warrant. Not exactly going to bring a president down.

22. SOME were rich
Have you forgotten the waitstaff, the cleaners, the security and service workers who died that day? The police and firefighters, who, although they make a comfortable living, are far from rich?

Maybe you need to look at some numbers before making a sweeping generalization.

24. Comfortable living?
Remember in that movie, "9/11," shot by those French brothers? The firefighter in it gets paid $600 and something for TWO WEEKS work. I get paid more than that and I don't live in NYC. Who could live on $1,500 a month in NYC?

Granted, he was a rookie, but, still, if that's the starting pay, the regular pay can't be too grand.

I hardly call that comfortable.

25. Point taken; you're right
Also underscores my earlier point that the working/service classes paid the highest price; they always do.

It's a problem that NYC has to face: the majority of its firefighters and police can't afford to live even in outlying boroughs. Thank you for pointing this out.

8. Pretty harsh but sounding more like truth all the time...
After 911 the whole world stood behind us. If Bush had been a true leader he could have used that leverage to fight real terrorism worldwide and possibly put Al Quaeda down for all time. But no... he used it to enrich himself and his friends.

Now when they invoke 911 it's just hypocrisy pure and simple.

10. You got it brother.. Bush had a 95% approval
rating in the aftermath of 9/11. Rove can spew all the bullshit he wants, fact is after 9/11 Liberals, Repukes, Conservatives, Dems, all stood behind Bush(however I was in the 5%) and he squandered the peoples trust and the worlds trust. Anyone remember the headline in France the day after 9/11? It said "We are all Americans now". Our response? Freedom Fries and Freedom Toast.

12. There are truths and there are Truths.
You obviously have one of the Truths. In fact, you may have THE Truth.

Reality's clearly subordinate. So arguments don't matter.

13. I didn't want to speak it aloud..
but I've thought something like that for a long time.

Bush's most vehement supporters often live in areas where they're not gonna get attacked. Rural areas. The boonies. The sticks. SquareStateVille. Whethere they admit it or not, they know in the back of their puny little minds that they're not going to get attacked in their homes. Their necks aren't on the line. Their lives are fine. It's the librul, fag-lovin', baby-killin', pointy-headed smartypants cities that are under the gun.. so who cares?

And it shows in how these areas vote. Look at the top terror targets in this country.
DC.. over 90%
Philly.. over 65%
Chicago.. over 80%
New York.. over 65%
San Fran and LA.. overwhelmingly for Kerry

The people in those cities voted as though their lives depended on it. They voted for the more intelligent security policy advocate. I think the Dems should point this out in the next election cycle; it's a very strong endorsement of Democrats from people whose lives are actually on the line.

Meanwhile, in Redneckville, they go for the Chimp because if our country gets attacked, they'll be juuuust fine. No skin off of their sacks, right? 60% (and often more) for the Chimp they'll vote. They know then can afford to vote for the stupid foreign policy and security policy advocate. It's not like they're gonna die or anything! And if we do indeed get attacked again, the crocodile tears will flow again for a little while, and they'll make more stupid moves in our names. Just great, eh?

/rant off

14. Well okay I'll say this in order to "diversity" if
Either it's my version or they simply thought "hey oppurtunity!" and whored and milked it for ratings and to get their war and "Nu Crusade" on.

Either way by their (Republicans/Conservatives) actions post 9/11 clearly they didn't give a rat's ass....they immediately took actions to politcize the tragedy with the convention being held in NYC as the climax.
