What I did today to further the cause of the Democratic Party

What I did today to further the cause of the Democratic Party
1) I sent in my form to officially change my party affiliation on my voter registration from "no affiliation" to "Democratic Party"

2) I signed Citizens Petitions supporting the Count Every Vote Act of 2005 to be sent to my state Representative and Senators. Along with these I sent a donation to the People For The American Way, who are sponsoring the petitions and Act.

3) In honor of Commander Cuckoobananas upcoming 59'th birthday I made a $59 donation to the DNC. Happy Birthday Chimpy!:party: :dem:

on your brand-new membership in the bestest political party in America out of the top 2, but how did you manage to get to 1000 posts before you decided that you needed to register as a Democrat?

2. I decided to officially switch affiliation a while ago
It just took me a while to get to the library to print out the form. I'd always voted democratic even though I was listed as "unaffiliated", so it was only a technicality, but I just wanted to make things really official.
