The Taliban and gwb's speech..."was" vs. "is"
Edited on Wed Jun-29-05 08:16 AM by BleedingHeartPatriot
From last night:

To complete the mission, we will prevent al Qaeda and other foreign terrorists from turning Iraq into what Afghanistan was under the Taliban, a safe haven from which they could launch attacks on America and our friends.

Reality = changing one little word's tense. MKJ

1. Once again, B*sh 'is and was' clueless......
I may have missed it, but did he say anything about Afghanistan getting worse last night?

No one in BushCo. can keep their lies straight anymore; so I guess that is a good thing. B*shCo. could have a narcissist convention, there are so many of them in their little world.

4. He doesn't want a democratic middle east. He doesn't care
They could be a fascist dictatoriship, it doesn't matter to him. All he wants is a country that will do whatever his administration wants.

If he was so concerened about spreading democracy and this was truly such a noble quest, why is he seen holding hands with the Saudi royal family?
