Bush's Approval Will Be In The 30's By The Weekend
Just watch, his approval will be down in the 30% range before Sunday.

3. I doubt it will go that low that fast...
but low 40's would be nice. :)

Let's save the 30's for the 2006 elections. That might be what we need to totally clean house in Congress.

4. 30% is the Republican hardcore ONLY.
Sorry, but there are too many "go along to get along" wimps among the rest of us. :(

5. If only you'd be right...
...but he seems to bottom out at that 40-42% mark. He's got more teflon than Reagan..and a GOP dictatorship which is even better protection.

We need a change in Congress next year, if we ever want to push the issue with his crimes.

18. I'm equally perplexed about where the 40-42% comes from.
His natural base consists of evangelical Christians @ approx. 25% and the ultra rich @ approx 5%. Which gives him 30%. So where do the other 10-12% come from? Any ideas? Is his true base really about 30% or am I missing something?

7. My question is: what does this have to do with the price of tea in China?
Nothing is going to change until 2006. By that time, maybe people will be tired enough of his minions in the Legislature to boot them out. But if his approval rating was 10%, what would that give us? If he resigned, we would get Cheney, who would be followed by DeLay, and Frist. It would take nothing short of the intervention of the God I do not beleive in to actually make something come of low poll numbers. I suppose that if, to save their own hides, the Legislature actually impeached the man, it would be a start. But, again, we would get Cheney, DeLay, and Frist.

10. what if...
here's my happy scenario: Cheney (mr. crashcart) dies suddenly; Chimp nominates a moderate as VP, someone who has a chance of approval; Chimp is impeached; moderate takes over.

Or, maybe pigs will fly out of my butt, a big asteroid will hit the earth, and we won't have to worry about it.

11. Here are the odds I see
The pigs flies out of your butt and the astroid lands directly on the herd of pigs! A MODERATE VP? Chimple the Pimple Brained Dweeb only knows hard right jerkoffs.

13. Low Numbers Stop Him Dead In His Tracks
There is no loyalty in the Congress, if his numbers fall his programs to too. As to Cheney becomming President I say let him. He would be the lamest lame duck in the history of the country. There could be no more ineffective Presidency than one held by Cheney after an impeached Bush.

9. No way. July 4. America. Red, white, and blue.
If you don't support our President on this day, you might be a terrorist!

The timing of Bush's speech was definitely no coincidence.

By the end of this year, though, he'll be down there barring some miracle.

12. I'll tell you what will bring his numbers down....
faster than a falling helicopter in Afghanistan.....

helicopters being shot down in Iraq and Afghanistan. Large losses of life, instant double-digit deaths and expensive equipment up in flames.

THAT, my friend, will torch his support faster than anything else.
