So it’s OK to invade a country in order to attract terrorists to it?.....
...So we can fight them there instead of here.

That’s about the most arrogant, chickenshit, illegal & immoral excuse for committing war crimes that I've ever heard.

You think we have a headache, what about all the troops and families in the audience last night. They must be confused as hell. Bush basically committed everyone in that room as well as the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan to 12 more years of occupation, combat and almost certain death or injury.

The battle plan as laid out by Bush is to remain as targets for terrorists until the last terrorists are defeated. You see you can't tell who is a terrorist and who isn't until you actually see them bombing or shooting someone or something.

Immoral to the max. It's called a Proxy War and you find
many, many people in the "Heartland" of America walking around saying how BLESSED we are that this War is happening elsewhere!!!

I was profoundly shocked the first time I heard that and I remain so. "we're so blessed we can afford to hire other nations to do our dying for us" in a war we CHOSE ahead of anyone else. We lead the way in a plan that is based on their deaths.

AND it is so confusing when the same people talk about how STRONG we are, and BRAVE, and about FAITH COMMITMENT - Just as long as someone else does the suffering and Dying.

Innocent Victims are Jesus.

How do you even make that point with a straight face? Are we so much more important than Iraqis it is that better that they face daily terrorism, murder and death? It's such an asinine excuse for us being there. How is it that people can believe this ridiculous rhetoric?
