The coffin theory seems logical. Except that it would seem like a very strange thing for BushCo to surround himself with on a podium. I mean, hell... surely that's last thing he wants to do: surround himself with the constant reminders of death... and use it as a backdrop too.

Hey... maybe an anti-Bush graphic/set designer did this without BushCo's knowledge. Anyway, just a thought.

The backdrop has a busy corporate advertising look. Most of all I'm sure they wanted it to be distracting.

BTW, I have a question, there was some kind of logo in the shape of a yellowish circle in front of Shrub yesterday. Anyone notice it and know what it was?

Also, I did not watch Shrub's performance, is there a video online anywhere?

Something told me that bush would wear a tie which expresses "friendliness" and "trustworthiness," and for the love of heaven, he sure enough wore a light blue tie, just as I thought he would.
