RW Radio Talking Point for Today
Both Rush & O'Reilly were pushing the Sadaam / 911 connection. They were upset that the Democrats & MSM were slamming Bush on his 911 refernces. It was hard to keep up with because at one point they talk about Sadaam/911 or Sadaam/Al Quida. I don't think they know the difference or care. I guess they think if someone from Al Queda was in your country, you planned 911.

O'Reilly took one call at the end of his first hour asking about when Bush said there was no evidence between Sadaam & 911. O'Reilly said it must be out of context and it doesn't matter any way. He claimed he has three undisputed facts that prove Sadaam was involved with 911. I missed specifics on what they were but they seemed to involve Zarqawi and two other men with arabic names. I caught about twenty minutes of it.

Rush went on and on about Sadaam and 911 also, at the beginning of his second hour. He has a 2 page pdf posted on his website that also lays out undisputed proof that there was a connection between Iraq & 911. Rush also added almost gleefully that it included a still shot of the plane hitting the 2nd tower.

These people are either certifiably delusional or the most evil creatures to walk the planet. At least with the politicians you can hope they at least believe what they are doing and it is for the best. Rush, etc are in it for money, period.

5. The lie has to grow because people have become wise to the lie.
That's the problem with lying, the lie has to grow as people catch on to the fact that you're lying.

They';re really grasping at straws. I read his two pages of bullshit and that's exactly what it is, two pages of bold faced lying.

6. Bush said Saddam had no connection to 9/11
Is Rush calling Bush a liar?

There is no connection, unless you listen to the notoriously reliable "curveball".

7. I've said before that given the opportunity
I would be twice as obnoxious, damaging to the left, and seemingly snicere and credible as Rush, and I would do it for half the money.

9. I listened to Rush today when my power went out (only had a radio)
and I was laughing my ass off the whole time. I'm guessing the dittoheads aren't even buying his crap any more. He's way beyond delusional.

10. Here's yer context, O'Spinly
Edited on Wed Jun-29-05 02:23 PM by JHB
Q One question for you both (Bush and Blair---JHB). Do you believe that there is a link between Saddam Hussein, a direct link, and the men who attacked on September the 11th?

THE PRESIDENT: I can't make that claim.

-----

Rice, asked about the same poll numbers, said, "We have never claimed that Saddam Hussein had either direction or control of 9-11."

Bush said there was no attempt by the administration to try to confuse people about any link between Saddam and Sept. 11.

"No, we've had no evidence that Saddam Hussein was involved with September the 11th," Bush said. "What the vice president said was is that he (Saddam) has been involved with al-Qaida. (see below -- JHB)

"And al-Zarqawi, al-Qaida operative, was in Baghdad. He's the guy that ordered the killing of a U.S. diplomat. ... There's no question that Saddam Hussein had al-Qaida ties."

Most of the administration's public assertions have focused on the man Bush mentioned, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, a senior bin Laden associate who officials have accused of trying to train terrorists in the use of poison for possible attacks in Europe, running a terrorist haven in northern Iraq ? an area outside Saddam's control before the war ? and organizing an attack that killed an American aid executive in Jordan last year.

11. I think they think Iraq is a deterent to those considering Terrorism.
The Cultural gap again in his thinking. Plus, I simply can't understand how anyone can miss understanding that if someone else invades and occupies your country, that's the most important thing in the lives of ALL of the invaded and their friends, and GENERATIONS, elsewhere, and to come in the FUTURE! Forever WAR!
