Sky news Al-Zarqawi and Bin Laden
Al-Zarqawi and Bin Laden had talked about planning an attack in Europe.

Some in the media are pushing Iraqi in a way to make Bush look good and not bad.

1. How does this make Bush or Blair look good
I don't get it. Another attack happened. Despite the billions of dollars and pounds spent on the 'Ear on Terror' the terrorists won another round. How does this make these people look good?

Neither the AMerican or the British public is that gullible. I think this is a story with legs for a few days and then it fades, as does Bush's poll numbers. After all, the terror attacks in London do not win the Iraq war or make the economy better or make the corruption of the GOP go away.

3. I know its BS
The whole world knows its BS and 50% of America knows its BS. The media though is trying to tie the big bad Iraqis to everything, so people will support the invasion.

Well hopefully it wont work.

The new polls numbers are going to be interesting.

4. The most significant poll numbers were the Zogby ones
that showed that without any significant media buildup AT ALL, 42% of the American people think * should be impeached if it can be shown that he lied to get us into the Iraq invasion. That is amazing. There has been little to no national media to push this.

I sincerely doubt that any 'bounce' from this horrible bombings in London will exceed 5% for two weeks or more. That is not a turn around, it's 1 in 20 people giving * the benefit of the doubt for a while. Then taking it back when he proves to be his usual incompetent self. 1 in 20 people, nothing more, maybe less.
