is a pretty grim diagnosis to start with. When Andy was first subjected to attacks about his diagnosis, he sent me bills with diagnostics laid out. I checked with several friends of my including a retired ICU/hospice nurse (lots of oncology background). She confirmed the procedures as involving PC and told me the prognosis was quite poor.

I never said this publicly and never mentioned it to Andy. I just hoped...

I wasn't posting that much after the rumor mill started because I found it tasteless and ugly but I had NO idea somebody would sink to this.

The word 'evil' is bandied about a lot nowadays and I've stopped using it but this filth qualifies for EVIL.

Who, or perhaps what on earth would undermine the last-hope surgery of a dying man? :grr:

Also one more sidenote ,... here in old europe , and i have lived in seven of it's nations , very few people hold any hatred for america .It's so awfull to hear us getting tagged as america-haters while most of us , or at least most of the young people have the grass is greener syndrome .I lived in the US for most of my childhood , and after having passed trough the INS or TSA parts of Dulles , JFK or ORd , I always feel nearly exuberant to be back . :)

What makes them think that they had the right to insert themselves into this situation? What mind-frame justifies the actions they took? It makes no sense to me. I've been to the Scamdy website and read some of the threads at FR and it really stumps me that they actually think they have this right to interfere with the lives of others in this manner.

A relative of mine was victimized by a small group of conservatives on a different message board that I frequent. She could have lost her job because these people snooped into her life --- all because they have a differing political opinion.

It makes no sense and, yes, this Fred Grady -along with all of the others- should publicly apologize. But, even an apology seems so small compared to what they did.

We know who the site owner is/was, where his cell phone comes from (different state), his "other occupation"... we know a great deal. We all decided not to discuss this until AFTER everything is done. And yes, while they still doubt that anyone actually filed a case with the FBI, let me assure them (as they tend to spend more time here than in their own skins) that aside from civil action, there is grounds for criminal action here based on several factors, not the least of which were the calls made that had the Paypal funds frozen, misrepresenting a hospital, stalking, harassment, and a few more interesting ones.

So let's give Andy time to be remembered for just a bit longer before we pick this up again.

Malicious intention to deny a person in a dead threatening condition leading to the dead of a person.

Andy is dead.
Their action directly resulted in the delay of treatments for Andy.
This is malicious intent, negligent to check the truth before say action is no defense.

Their action was 1) to stop Andy getting the financial help
2) to call Paypal with false info to stop or delay
payment

I will be very surprise if PayPal don't make a legal stand on this.
PayPal has been misrepresented to. And they better take some action.

And the others are entitled to their opinion, which I perceive as expecting an apology from grady. This is not mass hysteria or an illness, this is a shared moral outrage. That you have trouble perceiving that is something you may want to reflect upon.
