3. LOL!
Here they go with this bullshit again. Scare everybody to death! I bet there will be more planes diverted over the next few weeks, with perfectly innocent passengers refused entry and questioned, ala Cat Stevens. The TSA is protecting us against dancerous '70s singers everywhere.

4. More likely retribution.
I guess Bush would have banned all travel to France if they'd gotten the 2012 Olympics.

12. They STILL don't check passengers lists until the planes are in the air
So if anybody (like Cat Stevens. lol) is on the no-flight list, the whole plane has to turn around.

And of course it's wonderful security to wait for the last moment to check these things. Any terrorist can board a plane to the US, as long as he doesn't bring finger nail clippers.

14. Actually you can leave the US with scissors
Small nail scissors because I just BET my friends I could do it. But guess who stopped me coming back? A teeny airport in Mexico. That's right, folks, little ole Mexico has better security than the US.

15. Smaller airports ARE more scrutinous. Staff must be bored.
I used to fly weekly from a small two-gate airport in Nebraska. I had my own coffee cup there, but they still would announce the flight (even when I was the only passenger), the gate (1. lol) and go through an official boarding procedure including luggage checks and what not.

And that was before 9/11. They were more stringent then than Denver or O'Hare are today. It must be the volume.
