My LTTE re: London Bombings

I just sent this to the San Antonio Express-News in response (sort of) to the latest column by this guy:

my letter:

In all the media reports counting the casualties in the London bombings, one has yet to be reported: the death of the "We must fight them there so we don't have to fight them here" rationale for invading a country that had absolutely nothing to do with terrorism.

If the US and Great Britain had kept focus on Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan instead of cooking up lies to invade Iraq for its oil, it is quite possible that the criminals responsible for Thursday's tragedy would either be dead or behind bars, and the 50 or more people who died would be at home safe with their families.

Your don't think a little think like logic will get in Bush's way, do you? What are you, one of them "reality-based" people?
