Rove is not a brain scientist, he is just a cunning crook.

He has managed to get away with his dirty tricks because he has a lot of doors pushed open for him by POPPY.

With all the collective wisdom at DU, we should be able to determine what he is doing , why he is doing it and what his next trick will be.

He is simply a bully that is backed up by his GANG.

Columbo would be putting the pieces together and writing it all in his little dirty notepad.

Let's be Columbo, what do we have to do to bring this bully to justice?

There are the facts we know and the facts in evidence that we don't know.

From a conceptual level, we have a couple of choices. From a legal perspective we have to follow the facts (Dragnet style)in evidence.

Thinking:
Scenario A - The facts add up to what level of criminality for these people. (Those you can't prove it for, at this time, may become unindicted co-conspirators.) The lawyers (all sides) will argue this til the cows come home. The facts can be spun.

Scenario B - The working hypothesis or theory is supported by these facts. (These people had access, motive, intent and execution means and methods.) This is the public and inference/deduction counts more than the facts. The court of public opinion looms large because it can be told like a movie of the week story complete with villans, epic battles and hero (Wilson) fights for his lady love (Plame).

Be clear on which audience/scenario the bush administration/cabal et al, is working the refs on, at any particular time... If the facts are on your side play to the facts, if ya got a great story tell the story. Think Iraq, they sold the story, not the facts.

I just read a pretty convincing piece on Kos that spells out the Espionage Act. And seems fairly clear to me that Rove and several others in the Bush administration are guilty, guilty, guilty of breaking that law.

This man ran a campaign that got the majority of registered voters in this country to believe that the Nation would be safer militarily if they voted for someone who served in the National Guard(and his running mate who had other priorities over getting drafted and serving his country) instead of a voting for a man who jumped out of a small boat with his rifle and chased down an enemy combatant who was pointing a grenade launcher at him !!!!!!......if that's not the definition of an expert on the functioning of the human brain what is????

The real trick isn't figuring out what he will do. The real trick is making him a liability to *, so that * will be forced to get rid of him. The press hates Rove so much that they may well accomplish this.
