He seemed to have some pretty interesting ideas. One thing is for sure, the 7th Congressional district is trending Democrat and we need to take that district in 2006. I am not comfortable bein 55 seats in the hole to the Republicans. Let's hope this anger against the current congress holds. We may be able to pull off a suprise victory.

1. I know I could look this up myself, but...
What part(s) of Colorado does this district encompass?

Also- what's the name of the candidate? I'm always interested in reading/ hearing interesting ideas! :-)

2. The candidate was Herb Rubenstein.
There are 3 Dems vying for the nomination.

CD 7 encompasses most of Adams County except for Westminster, Thornton, and Northglenn. The part of Arapahoe County that Aurora is in. And in Jefferson County, the cities of Arvada, Wheat Ridge, Golden, Edgewater, and Lakewood.

3. Good for you, my old haunting grounds
Your local interest and participation is much needed
The CD7 district in the west is a growing hispanic so I hope he has hispanics on his team

4. Sadly, I live in 6. I hate it. It is so conservative.
It won't go Dem anytime soon.
