One of the best new show you've never heard of
30 Days. 30 Days is a series by Spurlock who did supersize me. It has people walking a mile in another person's shoes for 30 days. I'm posting a schedule for the east coast, and so people can see what shows that want to tune into.

• 30 Days - Two 30-year-old friends live in a Missouri eco-village without any modern day luxuries.

1. I hope it's collected to DVD
Because I don't have TV anymore, and I love what I've seen of Spurlock's work.

2. We've been talking about that show on here for weeks....
I still think more people need to actually see it but most on here have heard of it. Great show. Really great show. So well done. Informative but without a trace of condescension.

5. Morgan was on the Daily Show a couple weeks ago
to promote this. Great work.

They brought up the fact that this is a 'real' reality show. They dont try to find the most extreme people and push them into conflicts like most other 'reality' shows.

6. I saw the hetero/gay one and the minium wage one
This is a very compelling show. Truely give us an idea as to the prejudices out there, some so miniscule they're not even noticed.

What is such a great show doing on FX??? Isn't this a Fox affiliate?

Okay, so one question with a follow-up question...

10. Fox TV not Fox news
One of their shows won an Emmy for best Actor a few years ago. They are also debuting "Over There" in a few weeks-a drama about military families and the Iraq War (YES an actual TV show on TV not a reality show). They at least are trying to throw in some quality type stuff.

12. FX is my favorite channel
Besides the Buffy reruns (guilt pleasure) the also have "The Shield" and "Rescue Me", which are two really, really well done shows.

30 Days is good, I caught bits and pieces of the "Muslim/Christian" show, and it was just regular people going about their business. No radicals or extreme Christans OR Muslims.

:-)

I love the "fish out of water" aspect to the show. It really gets the participants thinking.

edit: I taped last night's show while I was watching Rescue Me
