She doesnt want to be paraded around the tv talk shows being asked unfair questions and having her life dragged through the mud.

She probably also wants to keep her job.

... from the leak. I'd think the CIA wouldn't want her face showing up too much, as broader exposure increases risk to intelligence assets with whom she may have interacted.
