I don't want Rove fired
I want him convicted, while still serving at the pleasure of the President. Why should the taxpayer be stuck paying him a big severance check, plus we all know, he'd still be directing things, just from somewhere else. Also, would really give us an edge if someone that is IN the Whitehouse is indicted and convicted of a crime, where if he were fired, it would pass in no time and be old news when the arrest is made, because I don't think the average Repuge voter even knows who he is.

1. He'll "resign"
but only after he's been indicted.

3. I don't want him fired either because that would just appease
the knuckledraggers - I want Fitz to take this just as far as he can and get them all.

4. I don't want him fired, either - but we have to keep the heat on.
I like the fact that certain Senators are calling for revoking his security clearance. Sweeeet.

6. Any of the above.
The only question is, who is Fitz going to turn his attention to next?

Suppose the indictment trolley doesn't stop at his door
don't you want him to be fired/to resign?
From what we know already the fucker was in on it--passing around the Plame story to his usual turdlickers.IIPA/Espionage Act/ Conspiracy take your pick from any of those serious charges, he's guilty. But if he's made a deal with the prosecution to testify against someone else, he might avoid indictment.

But that's only a deal with the prosecution to avoid slammer time. That doesn't mean he should still hold a position within the executive branch or be associated with the President. What will we tell the children for Heaven's sake?

8. what's particularly galling about this is...
Let's suppose that Wilson did indeed claim, falsely, that Cheney personally selected him to go to Niger. To blow the whistle on this "lie", Rove still would have no logical need to expose Wilson's wife as a CIA employee. He could merely tell Cooper, "Some faceless bureaucrat at the CIA picked Wilson." For Rove to add that Wilson's wife authorized Wilson, or even to qualify that Wilson's wife recommended Wilson to her superiors, serves merely as an attempt to castrate Wilson. Rove is blowing a CIA operative's cover, oh and by the way the giant secret enterprise that is her company, in order to call Wilson a girly-man. What a pluperfect asshole!
