On Hardball. Looks like their new line is that Rove's uncovering of Valerie Plame were just "offhand comments".

Just a throw-away line, huh?

4. Ahhh, Ben Ginsberg
Attorney for the Bush re-election campaign and for the Swiftboat Liars for Bush. Perfect spokesperson for Rove. THe irony.

Just offhand comments. And he would know this because? The White House sure is busy feeding new and improved talking points to the people using whoever they can. Ginsberg is one of the most smarmy Repugs out there. He was all over the tube arguing about how sleavy Clinton was. Unfuckingbelievable.

9. Fun When The "Rule Of Law Types" Get Stuck...
Many don't remember his rise to fame came in sliming the Clintons and screaming how the "perjury" of the Clennis would destroy the entire justice system. He had to not only be impeached but prosecuted and castrated (ok, so I got a little carried away...but not much).

Now, he's sure whistling a different tune when that perjury could be his good buddies and it has a lot more implications than a sloppy hummer.

You know Ben got the short straw this afternoon...there's not too many GOOP talking heads looking forward to the calls from the bookers this week.

Cheers...

8. My most memorable images of the unctuous, disgusting twit Ginsburg...
... date from the days of the lewinsky flap; whenever the most salacious details were being discussed, he could not suppress this drooling, lascivious leer that revealed him as the masturbatory churl he truly is.

Bush-Cheney lawyer resigns over veterans flap
Ginsberg: 'Stunning double standard' in 527 media coverage

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A legal adviser to the Bush-Cheney campaign resigned Wednesday after revealing that he had also advised the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, the 527 group that has launched a campaign to discredit Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry's military record.

A campaign official told CNN that Benjamin Ginsberg advised the group a few months ago at the same time he was working with the Bush-Cheney campaign.

Campaign adviser Terry Holt told CNN that the Bush-Cheney campaign learned Tuesday of Ginsberg's double duty.
