sheesh--real effective action--if I discovered that paper in a book I'd think whoever put it in there was a complete idiot! It reflects on them, not on Hillary. It says: I have no other priorities in life than inserting my own dumb picture of a person I don't like into books in a bookstore. DUH.

Or does it seem the Freepers spend an awful lot of time photoshopping photos of the Clintons, Daschle, and the Dixie Chicks? I suppose that's an activity they can accomplish while listening to Rush. Maybe they'd be better served by reading more, photoshopping less.

It's a load of crap. The reason I say it's a load of crap is because some poor clerk will have to go and correct the crap being donw by both sides!

It's a waste of time, effort, and money and if you ask me, it's tanamount to stealing because the bookstore must pay somebody to fix this crap.

anything else? I work at a bookstore, know people at the other bookstores in my area, and would love to out them and call my local newspaper and get to mention the way the right wing pumps up the numbers for their books...which never sell as well as Palast, for instance, where I am.

As if someone reading the book will see the picture and suddenly change their opinions. I think this is an interesting profile of the Freeper mind, that they really do dwell on image more than substance. Now if they had created a pdf document which lists a page number in the book, a quote, and then a refutation of that quote with another source, I'd say that was good thinking.

Actually, that would be an interesting addition to 'Treason' or any other Coulter book. Create a little index and a cross-reference between the Lie and the Truth.

They believe selling a left-leaning book is a thought crime to be punished by terrorizing the owners of the store.

No customer is going to care, this is just a politically motivated attack against book sellers and publishers who arent marching to great leaders drum beat.
