I'm Going to Andy's Funeral! (I'm in Seattle now!)

Its 2:00 a.m. my time, so please forgive this note if there is a lack of coherency.

Out of the blue, "someone" decided to make it possible for me to go to Andy's funeral, and while I am still reeling in shock, I am also now sitting at a computer in a hotel in Seattle, Washington. I will be attending Andy's memorial tomorrow at 2:00 p.m.

If there are any other "gatherings" to be held in his honor (or other folks in town like me), please PM me with any relevant information; I will retrieve messages in the morning.

To the person who made this possible, THANK YOU! You know who you are, and I very much appreciate it. I promise to deliver your message to Andy.

My heart is full at the moment, and any wit I ever possessed seems to have fled in the frenzy of last minute travel. I'm exhausted, but feeling very, Very, VERY blessed at the moment. The chance to say goodbye to my friend means more to me than I can ever explain....

It mentioned DU a number of times, and was sadly written before he passed. Great article detailing (and shaming!) the "scamdy.com" idiocy.

We came in from NJ yesterday. We didn't think we could swing it, but couldn't stay away.

At the Nashville conference we talked to Andy about coming out to visit. This is not what we envisioned. It's heartbreaking.
