A new milestone for the Clark campaign
Reprinted from the Draft Clark yahoo group:

According to Alexa Web rankings (likely the best out there), DraftWesleyClark.com has now moved into second place for traffic of ALL the presidential candidate sites. This is pretty wild, and I *think* the first time this has happened in this draft (for a full week, as opposed to just a day)

Here are the rankings for the last week (note, lower number is better -- Yahoo is number one).

www.DeanForAmerica.com <http://www.DeanForAmerica.com> : 6,599
www.DraftWesleyClark.com: 40,782
www.johnkerry.com <http://www.johnkerry.com> : 63,845
www.GeorgeWBush.com <http://www.GeorgeWBush.com> : 71,610
www.johnedwards2004.com <http://www.johnedwards2004.com> : 85,621
www.dickgephardt2004.com <http://www.dickgephardt2004.com> : 86,998
www.Joe2004.com <http://www.Joe2004.com> : 146,421

Not bad, considering they've spent millions to raise candidate/campaign profiles -- and we've spent thousands. Yet another testament to the power of General Clark, and the grassroots desire for him to RUN!

FYI, if you want to check the ranking of a site, you can download the toolbar, or insert the URL at the end of this, in place of the www.DraftWesleyClark.com <http://www.DraftWesleyClark.com> .

2. If He Can Manage NATO
which is comprised of, say eighteen or nineteen nations, I think he can "manage" America and skip the school board.

Rhodes Scholar, first in his class at West Point, Supreme Allied Commander, Wes Clark has the right stuff.

4. You need to do some serious research if you think...
Clark doesn't have experience. You can go to any of the draft Clark websites to gain some insights on his resume.

7. Clark is a brilliant human being ....
Does he ACTUALLY have to run for dogcatcher first ????

ANYONE can run for office, if they so desire, and have sufficient financial backing .....

Gen. Wesley Clark is a progressive thinker, who not only graduated Top of His Class from West Point, but also received a Masters in Political Science at Oxford, where he was a Rhodes Scholar ... He is also a successful investment banker who knows how the markets work, and knows how important the 'Little Guy' is to the success of a whole nation ....

Cap that with a successful stint in the Military with REAL honest to goodness honors for bravery in combat ....

Clark is no mere Ross Perot or Jesse Ventura: .. His bona fides are very impressive ....

Cheap shots against Clark are small minded: ... They say something more about those who offer them than of the General himself ....

I would GLADLY pull the lever for Clark .....

6. Clark, we're waiting!!!
Edited on Mon Jul-14-03 05:23 PM by WhoCountsTheVotes
I've wanted Clark to run for a while. I think he can bring back the Democrats rightfully deserved reputation as strong on national defense - the Republicans are obviously not doing a good job.

I also appreciate the fact that Clark isn't yet another corporate executive or insider politician. He made it where he is through the US military, and I think it will be refreshing to have a different perspective than the one we usually get.

So let's hear it, Clark. Where do you stand on letting corporations send our jobs to countries like Communist China and third-world hell-holes like Indonesia? Where do you stand on protecting Social Security? Where do you stand on so-called "free trade agreements"? Where do you stand on national health care?

Come on, gimme a reason to vote for Clark! I want to!

On edit: My spelling is horrible!
