Here is what I sent:
Why is it that the un-intentional airing of "The F-Word" is worthy of a larger fine than the negligent release of radioactive material?
During the hours and hours of this live broadcast, a single obscenity slipped through.
Big F-Wording deal!
It is reprehensible that a bunch of outraged Pharises place hysterical pettiness ahead of the worthy goal of saving the lives of the starving people in Africa.
Would you like to tell a village in Africa that they have to go hungry because a bunch of whining ninnies had their sensibilities offended by a "dirty word."
Further, in the past, the FCC has ruled that the F-word is not indecent unless it refers to sexual activity. In this case, "Who the f--- are you?" clearly has nothing to do with a sexual act.
Don't these people have something better they could do with their time? Like feeding the hungry, housing the homeless, or perhaps spending more time with the children they're supposedly so worried about?
Please deny the indecency complaints filed in regards to this matter, and do not take action against ABC or its affiliates.
