How can my UTERUS be up for debate? (sorry- another Rant)
It's all out there.. like a fart in a hot sauna. Abortion. Roe V. Wade. Equality. Reproductive Freedom.

I gotta join the unempowered 50 some percent of the population in saying, what the F*** do YOU* have any business deciding what is in my uterus or not? It is SOOOO not anyone else's business but my own. I value this freedom we call privacy. The contents of my uterus are mine, period. I carry my body around every day, it is my temple. I try to know what my body is saying, doing, feeling. It is nobody else's business what happens inside my body, THE END!!!!

*idiot pro-birthers and their equally ignorant spouses (there is nothing more deplorable to me than a woman who foresakes her entire gender and champions the pro-birther propaganda, which doesn't take into account the wrenching and UNIQUE circumstances that face women facing an unplanned pregnancy.)

1. Hey, anti sodomy laws were just overturned and plenty are cranky about
THAT.

So all our bodies are up for debate, it seems, from the Republicans who want everything privatized - except your body.

2. "It is SOOOO not anyone else's business but my own."
Unfortunately, the Supreme Court doesn't see it that way.

The election of 2004 was ALL about who got to make these Supreme Court picks.

3. I think some day they'll be after male masturbaters also.
Spilling seed stops babies being made. I often think that was Clinton's REAL sin. He wasted seed not trying to make babies.
Didya ever consider what the laws would be like if men had the babies? I'd think it would be something like "do what you want, it's yours".

4. Your just property, don't you know that?
Go back and do whatever your owner says.

(O.K. Just kidding. Sarcasm off now.)

I fought this battle as a teen/young adult in the 70's.

I cannot believe I will be fighting it again.

It is just SO disappointing.

5. they are out
to return the nation to at least before the new deal if not 1896.

smiling spouses in brightly colored "suits" reminds me of the Stepford wives or some sort of ad straight out of the 1950's.

I feel your outrage but it's also way beyond woe v. wade...it's decimation 100% of any FDR new deal, social security, equal rights, equal opportunity and our favorite...a major, major big fest for the new citizens of America...corporations...

I believe we just all got reduced to 3/5th of a person (this was the value given for a black man by house of representatives 1800's).
