Roe v Wade
If Roe vs Wade were to be overturned, would this then make the "morning after" pill illegal? And IUDs? And invitro fertilization (which involves the destruction of fertilized embryos, and sometimes aborting some of the fetuses because of multiple births)?

5. Particularly the morning after pill
Banning abortion is one thing. Trying to ban the morning after pill makes them look ridiculous.

6. I don't know about that, BUT ...............
if they follow through with a push to ban contraception they will be out of power for generations. Those that live to tell about it, that is.

8. These people know the dangers of what they are doing
I think it's just a threat to distract and cause infighting within our party. They KNOW the Republican party cannot exist without their non-questioning wives in the background. They WILL NOT support an abortion ban (or contraception). They are idiots, but not morons.

3. If that's so, surely there are Republicans who
have conceived by invitro. They won't want to lose that right. Will they?

7. It means MUCH more than reproductive issues.
RvW is essentially a matter of privacy: Do we want the government making personal decisions for us, or can we look to our own judgment?

You take away RvW, you take away people's personal rights to their own non-traditional families, their sexual practices, their family decisions. The body becomes a puppet of the U.S. government, as controlled by the repugs.
