Wow, everybody relax. We're Democrats, we can walk AND chew gum.

My bumper is big enough for a "Fire the Traitor" sticker alongside a "Fillibuster the Fanatic" sticker. I can write two letters to my Congresscritter each day, and sign two petitions.

I've got a lot of anger and outrage--the more targets the better. Think of it as aiming two barrels at Bush, instead of one. Think how stupid he will look when he has to fire Rove AND pick a more reasonable SCOTUS judge. We should be salivating.

1. I don't think that is the concern... it's more about "national attention"

with the idea that the average American has the attention span/ interest level for one D.C. political drama at a time.

2. National attention is not a concern in this case

We don't have to keep both issues in front of the public. Rove is being investigated, and that won't stop just because the public isn't watching. The Senate committee will dig up what they have to on Roberts. It's just our job to support both issues, and make enough noise that people are still aware of them.
