They did it!
Edited on Wed Jul-20-05 01:11 AM by Disturbed
Not one word about Plame on any TV programs. Will they keep this off until the GJ renders indictements or declines to render? If no indictements it will be on the news for maybe a day. If there are any then the topic may be in flames again.

1. MSNBC's Countdown had alot about it today.
It will drop off the front pages for a week or more but it won't go away completely. The press are too hungry for this one.

2. Countdown and Inside Politics still covered Rovegate
And probably some others, as I didn't have the TV on all day.

4. Ah...OK Thanks I see I missed a few.
The SC Nom hearings won't be for another 5 weeks, since the Congress gets that much vacation. I hear they can vote to raise their own salaries, too. Nice perks, eh?

5. I think that the Repukes were hoping for a battle and we bluffed 'em.
They'll get their battle. Count on it. First things first, IMO.

Peace.

7. I don't think it'll go away either
Once there's a slow news day, (like everyday), they'll latch onto this one again. It has all the makings of a soap opera. They love it!

8. Rove seems to be the main villan of this story then Novak but
Novak is not really important enough in my view to spend much time on. Even if he were indicted and found guilty of something, aside from some pleasure it may give some, what gain would it provide?

Although not as sensational and satisfying to dwell on I feel that Scooter Libby is more important to the story than even Rove. His role leads us right to Cheney, who contrary to many people's understanding, can be impeached.

9. It is not a coincidence that Sandra Day O'Connor announced
her retirement when the heat was getting too close to this filthy crime family!

10. How many words about the REAL issue: the DSM? Zero, I bet
Plame, like wotsername's resignation from SCOTUS, is a distraction from DSM.

And it worked.
