And we are indeed not worthy.

11. ?
At least we still have him on the screen

I am only 46 and think I can do 46 more at least, but is kind of weird to see people like that go after watching them all of years.

This was one of the biggest lines of all of Star Trek.
My computer is running so slow today, but I dug up his filmography.

14. Here is MSNBC write up
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8643634/

LOS ANGELES - James Doohan, the burly chief engineer of the Starship Enterprise in the original “Star Trek” TV series and motion pictures who responded to the command “Beam me up, Scotty,” died early Wednesday. He was 85.

Doohan died at 5:30 a.m. at his Redmond, Wash., home with his wife of 28 years, Wende, at his side, Los Angeles agent and longtime friend Steve Stevens said. The cause of death was pneumonia and Alzheimer’s disease, he said.

The Canadian-born Doohan was enjoying a busy career as a character actor when he auditioned for a role as an engineer in a new space adventure on NBC in 1966. A master of dialects from his early years in radio, he tried seven different accents.

------
I had no idea he was that old. Older than my father and killed by the disease Alzheimers which killed my mother in December.
Have a safe journey Scotty!
