Roberts was not a thoughtful decision........
He's been waiting in the wings for this appointment since he became a judge just two short years ago. Just as with everything, they know exactly who they want and they leave nothing to chance. Hmmm...he worked on the Gore vs. Bush decision, then in 2003 he was nominated by Bush for a judgeship, and then just two years later he's a Supreme Court Judge nominee. Yep, I'm sure this appointment took a lot of deliberating.

2. Roberts
was an attempt at a diversion.
They much rather have us debating Roberts than talking about violations of National Security and Treason.

4. So, he was being "groomed" for 5 years
I wonder if they keep a 'stable' of these partisan hacks and keep dangling plum appointments in front of them if they do the right things.

7. What I was trying to say........
which I guess I didn't to a very good job of doing, was to say that there was no deliberation on who should be the next Supreme Court Justice. They knew who they were going to nominate when they decided two years ago to make him a judge. That is why we also know that he has the same ideology as those currently running our country; which is to say we are in big trouble.
