No Fly Lists...do you know if you're on it?
Funny thing is...you dont know if you're on it until you try boarding a plane, right? Last month, we were visiting relatives in FL and NC and there was no incident...

Well...last week we signed up for hosting a John Conyers DSM House Party. (BTW, many people are coming and it should be a great Meet!) Our names were put up on Conyers website over the weekend. This morning, my partner tried to board a plane for FL and was stopped with a 'no fly' alert. He went to the airport security office to get his name 'unlocked' and proceeded to his plane. It pissed him off but he had enough time to spare to remedy the 'incident'..but you know, it doesnt really change anything, does it?

LOL, GAWD, they really must be paranoid to come after the likes of us!

2. Really, thats quite interesting
You're right according to Homeland, when they first came out I tried to check. They also declined to specify the criteria for placement on the list.

I have been wondering for some time about the surveillance of groups such as this. I mean if they have compiled 2600 pages on the ACLU, we here must be really fascinating to them.

been dong enough to really have gotten the attention of the good ol folks at the US Goverment

Hell my website has hits from the US Governemnt on a regular basis, and it is only a game company you know... I know after I post the Constitition it will truly be a revoltuionary site.

4. I'm not, but I have a co-worker who is.
He's probably the last person on earth who should be, but someone with his name is causing him to get checked out before every flight. It's incredibly inconvenient for him. What I don't get is that they told him to expect to go through the same thing every time he flies! You would think they could do something for the poor guy.

BTW, his name is quite common.
