Do republicans NOT care about national security??
I'm watching the C-Span replay of a hearing held today where ex-CIA agants are testifying before a panel of DEMOCRATS...

I guess republicans don't want to touch this one with a ten foot pole.

1. Good question. This affects all of us but the repugs
apparently don't see it that way, which baffles me, too.

3. Marcinkowski was blistering
He said it was bad enough the RNC was smearing Valerie Plame but Senators were doing it too. He said anybody who made statements ridiculing her covert status or muddying the waters with minutiae should stand up and take responsibility for the failure of national security when all our information sources dry up.

People who would come forward are watching this. Now they know the CIA can't protect them because the pres puts politics before national security.

4. They are about party loyalty
and absolute power. This country and anything else including real justice takes a back seat. Their abuse of power proves they should never have it.

6. Makes sense...
There is no allegiance to "America" in the republican party.....There is no loyalty to "America" in the republican party....

The ONLY thing they are loyal to, the only thing they pledge allegiance to is money.

If it means more MONEY to them by moving your job overseas and shit-canning your ass out on the street, so be it, all at the same time cutting social welfare programs for poor people and cutting taxes for wealthy corporations.

Or..

allowing corporations to set up off-shore offices and not pay any taxes AT ALL while DEMANDING xenophobic patriotism of the little people to do the killing and dying for these same shysters posing as defenders of the public good.

5. Let Me Try To Make It Clear
The Republicans, from Bush all the way down to those who keep voting for them don't give a rats ass about this country!!!!

Now I already know that some of you here will argue that you know someone who has seen the light, well without any major elections until 2006 that's just fluff. The proof will come when some of the Repukes lose their seats, then I'll beleive that at least some have seen the light.

This is my opinion, the rich are only interested in filling their pockets and have a sense that just because they have money that they should control everything, the Christian fanatics want a theocracy and a state religion, their religion. The generals and admirals are looking for that high paying consulting job when they retire, and if a few thousand troops have to come home in body bags, well it's worth it. And last but not least the politicians just want to remain in power, they do not believe in representing the people, they vote
based on what they feel is important, and don't give a damn about the people who elected them. But come the next election cycle those very same people will re-elect the same useless f**k.

The Rebuplicans in Congress are traitors, they swore to support and defend the U.S. Constitution, and then they enact laws that violate
the very document that they swore allegiance to, so they are liars as well as traitors.

Republicans don't care, the military command doesn't care, and the people who vote Republican, indicate by their votes that they don't care either.

7. exactly
They don't care about the honor of the military, or else the cowards who never wore a uniform wouldn't have hired mercenaries to smear Senator Kerry (swift boat liars), and they don't care about national security - our information sources and intelligence network. They destroy everything that stands in their way, and there is no limit to what they will or won't do. And so many either don't see it or don't care. It's nauseating.

Nothing is sacred but the dollar to these people.
