WAKE UP PEOPLE!!

I wonder how many of these guys grew up playing video games where they got to shoot people to their heart's content?

3. Point?
What exactly was the point?

You post was unclear. Are you blaming video games on those t-shirts? That seems to make little sense. What are we waking up to? We seem to be aware there are video games. We also seem to be aware people have poor taste. So, What are we waking up to again?

4. There have been numerous threads lately here on DU about video games
and gamers seem to think Hillary Clinton wants to take their games away.

Meanwhile, soldiers in Iraq are listening to Rush and wearing these repulsive and racist t-shirts.

I happen to think the Iraq dilemna deserves our attention while the video games drama is unnecessary. I also think we need to consider what we are allowing kids to learn when they play violent video games (learning to shoot cops, BTW). Then many of these same kids grow up to become soldiers and are brainwashed by Rush, et al to belive brown skinned Iraqis are evil and deserve to not only be belittled but also killed.

5. I stick by my original response...
We can discuss more then one thing at a time. Civil debate is healthy. D

At one point you say the video game drama is unnecessary but in the next two sentences you blame video games on turning children into racist murderers. That seems to scream out for debate.

Nappy time for me....

Peace

6. Sorry for the confusion
I meant the drama that implies Hillary wants to take the video games away from the gamers.

And since the military does use video games to train soldiers for combat, I think we DO have a possible discussion here.
