The bombs in London and in Egypt are in response to US presence...
...in Iraq? Do you think that is possible? And there will be other attacks around the Middle East and Europe if the US does not pull out the troops from Iraq? Is this the message that is sent in secret communicado? Get out or suffer the consequences. Notice in Egypt that the targets were mainly European tourists or citizens.

1. england, yes.... England is the second largest contingent in Iraq
Egypt is not really a totally fundamentalist country. That may be the motivation there.. also, they bombed a tourist area with many foreign nationals vacationing there.

2. Yes, it is possible

It's hard to distinguish though. Some Muslim militants just want the Americans and Europeans out of Iraq and Afghanistan, and then there's the more extremist militants would like to see the old lands of the Ottoman Empire to be reconverted back to Islam (i.e. Spain and Eastern Europe).

In Britain there are a handful of radical clerics who believe that Shariah law should be applied and that everyone should convert to Islam, and that a Jihad is justified to achieve this. Then there are clerics who stop short of that and just propose Jihad to force the British and Americans out of Iraq.

And then there's the whole Israel/Palestine thing...

3. Any nation who is on friendly terms with us and support our occupation
of Iraq is a target. It won't be long before they try it over here again ... I think we all knew that all along ....but the Repugs are using the latest bombings as a reason to renew the Patriot Act, saying that it was one of the reasons why we had not had another attack. We all know this isn't true. They will try to strick whenever they want and have planned long enough for. We will just have honest citizens loose their rights and have their rights taken away.
