What is he thinking?.....
He looks about 3 or 4 years old. Look at those eyes...

4. Look again. He doesn't even see the man in the uniform. Just the uniform.
There is almost no discernable emotion on his face at all. A blank stare. That uniform and that gun is all he's gonna carry with him, and regardless of who is in the uniform, or who is carrying the weapon, they are the root of his lot in life.

We have made Hussein's memory an almost fond one to a generation of children. And that fondness will become folklore.

Of course, I don't disagree that we're planting some terrible seeds in Iraqi children.

It's a terrible thing to realize that we have become more hated than a monster like Hussein by the very people we claim to have liberated.

He is too young to understand what is really going on and who is truly responsible. He relies on adults to explain to him things he cannot fully appreciate yet.
