What kind of person allows another person
to call him "Turdblossom," and instead of punching the other guy in the nose, says "Yes sir, yes sir, three bags full sir," and continues to work for the other guy?

Any SOB ever called me "Turdblossom" to my face would be eating his dinner through a straw for the next six months.

There's some kind of pathology at work here; can someone explain to me why Rove would continue to work for bushyboy after being so grossly (and publicly) insulted and disdained?

I'd be interested in hearing your opinions and theories, because I can't come up with any explanation besides sheer masochism.

7. Nope. The blivet aka our current prez refers to Rove
as Turdblossom. Trudeau did a cartoon w/the word Turdblossom in it, and people got annoyed/it got trashed/edited.

segment on South Carolina. It's so much more effective to have such disgusting behavior presented in video form, rather than just reading about it

that man is as bad as pRes. Dumbass, if not worse

he is utterly craven; a total slave to his megalomaniacal ambition

I WONder why his poor wife is a downer freak

and his poor kids....

sigh

and, AFA Bush's Brain goes, the segment on those two Texas Ag Dept politicos who were hounded into PRISON for 27 months was one of the most disgusting things I've ever seen. One of them couldn't keep from crying while talking about it.....seems as if the whole thing KILLED his parents

every day I loathe that fatfuk more and more

3. You have to look at the meaning of it
Edited on Tue Jul-26-05 11:49 PM by lwfern
A flower that finds a way to grow out of a piece of manure in a field.

Like saying Rove's home life was crap, he had the worst circumstances, and he managed to make something good of it.

It's a crude term, but not necessarily insulting. It's not calling Rove a turd, it's calling him the blossom.

21. Rove is not a frat-rat. Rove is a college drop-out.
Most people have to have a college degree before they work in the White House.

10. There's volumes in what you say.
It's said that a person's own name is one of the most pleasant words they can hear. There's a lot to that, and it has to do with the care and love with which their parents bestowed it.

The Chimperor will have none of that. He has no interest whatsoever in honoring others. It's only about him.

He grants himself an authority over others superior to their own parents, giving them a 'name' as though he's God and is accorded some Baptism naming honor.

He countenances no compliance to any of the conventions of an everyday social contract - conventions he'd be quick to punish others for violating. He deems himself above such social conventions, above the rules, above the law, and exempt from any criticism.

He labels others, not with honor or respect, but with diminution, contempt, and subordination. He demeans others yet he can NEVER demean them to the point that they are seen any less than he secretly sees himself (and lives down to).

He's a pea in a watermelon patch, a B-B in a bowling alley, a grain of sand among the river rocks ... the most monstrously arrogant sociopath since Idi Amin, and probably worse.

17. Exactly. He's the most powerful nobody since Louis the sixteenth
Your post was delicious. He is truly a very small person with a need to be great. Nothing matters to him except dominance, and his desire to define and control others is all-consuming.

Just as he told a reporter that he "had a face made for radio" and then repeated it, he is knotted up with anger at being found out as the double-digit nincompoop he is, and his energies are focused on making others squeal in submission. His cell phone fixation is another example of this. It goes on and on. He truly sees absolute monarchy as his due, and he loves to grind others with this. I'd love to have been there when he lorded it over Poppy that he "won" a second term. Considering how Poppy liked to humiliate people by reminding them that HE was the President, it couldn't happen to a nicer fellow.

You really capture the heart of this cur, and his delusions of grandeur are nothing short of godlike.

24. Don't forget when he went to the 9/11 memorial & they built a platform
because his shoes are not supposed to touch the ground, so they built a boardwalk for him through the park to the memorial (it was on Long Island) so his shoes would not touch dirt. Jimmy Breslin wrote about it in Newsday. The Little Emperor. God I hope he ends up in jail.

20. Yep. Dubya is the poster boy for Pathological Narcissism
It's so extreme that it incorporates many/most of the aspects of APD (Antisocial Personality Disorder) and BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder). I think it's gotten worse due to the enabling and 'supply' he's gotten -- weeks at the Pig Ranch and weekends at Camp David where he's 'courted.'

Let's remember what the function of a monarch's 'court' is: courtship. It was/is the acknowledged job of the court to shine sunlight up the butt of the monarch - feed his/her ego.

Let's make no bones about it - the Bush 'dynasty' regard themselves as 'royalty.' They deliberately surround themselves with sycophants - their 'court' - and overtly place Loyalty (to them, not nation and not values) above all other virtues. Lie out of loyalty. Cheat out of loyalty. Steal out of loyalty. Murder out of loyalty. All things are justified out of loyalty. After all, the King *is* the law, right?

31. (blush) Thank you. It's the result of a perverse fascination with ...
Edited on Wed Jul-27-05 11:32 AM by TahitiNut
... his unfathomable corruption. It's like watching a monstrous car wreck -- it challenges one's ability to describe it.

For example, when parading his nominee Roberts, Smirkus Corruptus demonstrated pique and animus toward 'little Jack' and his antics. Absolutely any emotionally mature adult would take passing note of and show some degree of enjoyment of the freedom and innocence of a child -- the same kind of child who announced that "the Emperor is naked." An emotionally mature adult would join in the audience's amusement -- because life goes on!

Not C-czar Disgustsus.

No, the Chimperor is such an atrophied human being that he's THREATENED by the behavior of a child! He's (gasp!) upstaged by a child! The emotionally-impoverished Narcissist-in-Chief is totally and completely without human tolerance and flexibility. Without humor and without any kind of inner empathy for childhood -- where his was devoted to blowing up frogs and wreaking sociopathic vengeance on creatures smaller and weaker than himself.

It's probably worth noting that Dumya was not given his own name. Instead, he was annointed in a manner that announced a dynastic continuity - an accessory to Poppy's inherited power and pretentious virility. It was a solo role he was soon deprived of when his sister was born. His infantile resentment of her birth was realized in her death. The die was cast. Dumbya was, at that point, a guaranteed sociopath.

14. Rove is a commoner; Bush is Royalty
Rove buys into this "some people are better" belief, and even though he KNOWS he's much smarter than Junior, he still has this sick inferiority/superiority complex of the serf. Truly, he believes that he can rise from the muck and be given a place in the peerage, but he's still a peasant, and since he loves the system that will someday allow him to lord it over others, he'll take it.

Old as the hills, and clear to the bone.

16. Maybe they're calling him the "Magic Mushroom"
Psilocybin is his name and distorting reality is his game. I've heard the term "turd blossom" used to describe "shrooms."

With shrub's personal knowledge of controlled substances, it almost seems plausible that it is a drug reference.

My suspicions rise even further when I contemplate the current administration's view of the world. Some may think of bush: "is he tripping on acid?"

No, my friend, he's tripping the American people by distorting reality and distracting our minds. His "shroom" is Rove and it's being fed to the millions of Americans who haven't the sense to quit feeding on the fungus.

So, there you have it.

Just going out on a limb..
