Phillips Foundation

Can anyone tell me about the Phillips Foundation?

A conservative troll gaining media coverage by crying liberal bias at my alma mater (UNC-Chapel Hill) is funded (10k per year) by the Phillips Foundation. I know that they are a part of the propaganda network because NoFacts and some other American Spectator guy sit on their board, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything more definitively partisan about them.

I am planning to write a letter to the editor discussing this troll's lavish funding, but I'd like to know a little bit more about the Phillips Foundation before I submit anything.

there are over 20 Phillips Foundations listed . . . you'll probably have to do some digging, but you can check their 990 forms to see who they've given to . . .
