A wierd thing about the latest Gallup Poll.
It appears that Democratic support is what's holding his numbers up.

5. I disagree.
It's the unwavering Republican support that is responsible. Bush is nearly down to what could be considered his solid base.

Using a completely made-up and hypothetical 40/40/20 (R/D/I) split since your graph doesn't provide the actual split, 87% of 40% is 34.8%, a major chunk of the low 40s numbers he's seeing for support.

7. I'm referring to graph that shows only Democratic support has grown.
I'm not saying that his numbers are "good". Just pointing out that while Republican and Independent support have both dropped Democratic support has increased.
