18. I heard part of Hannity's show July 4th weekend
(I was out of range of AAR in Memphis and was trying to find something to listen to on the drive to my parents' house in Arkansas.)

Anyway, he had some callers on the line and was quizzing them about some pretty basic history. One woman who gushed about how much she loved Hannity's show couldn't answer, "What nation did Americans fight in the Revolutionary War?" She was stumped! He asked another caller a question about Vietnam (something basic, too, like "What continent is Vietnam considered a part of?") and he couldn't answer it, either.

Welcome to DU. You know whats going to be funny, and I dont know if it's true or not, I hear that there going to be asking history and current event questions on driver licinse exams. Lol. Can you imagine how many people will get this one wrong. What's the color of an orange?

that those on AAR will allow dissenting opinions to be heard, while the right wing mutton-heads wouldn't dream of it.
I guess it shows that the right wing is afraid of honest debate and more importantly, the truth. They hide in their cloistered studios, surrounded by their "fact" checkers (propaganda artists) and never once let the light of day shine on their inane screeds.
That's why I'm a Democrat I guess, I''m not afraid to debate the opposition and the truth is usually on our side.

This guy kept asking Randi to allow him to speak after she gave him so much time to have his say.

Frankly, I think he's a plant who called specifically to lie. Lie about what Dean said, lie about Gore having the same grades in college as W, wrong when he characterized Randi's characterization of Reagan. He knew what he was doing every step of the way. I wouldn't be surprised if Rove has a crew that calls these shows specifically to trip up people. If so, he trains them well.
