Is Gawd mad at the Boy Scouts?
FRESNO, Calif. Another tragedy has struck the Boy Scouts, just days after four scout leaders were electrocuted while putting up a tent.
Now, a scoutmaster and a 13-year-old scout have been killed by lightning in California's Sequoia National Park. Six others have been injured.

They were all part of a group that had set up tarps to shelter them from a summer storm. A park ranger says a bolt of lightning hit one of the tarps directly.

Two of the injured were seriously hurt and survived only because the rest of the troop relied on their scout training to administer C-P-R non-stop for an hour.

In the incident in Virginia earlier in the week, the victims were killed as their tent's large center pole came into contact with power lines.

2. The feeling of being in a tent in the wilderness during a bad storm
is hellacious. Kudos to the scouts doing CPR for an hour.
That is not an easy thing to do.
:(

3. Beware!
I posted this when MSNBC reported it, and I got flamed for my subject headline: Why does God hate Fresno?

I had to remember how to put someone on ignore.

Such a bother.

5. Absolutely!
I mean no harm.

I just hate freepers... and I'm sorry that no one ever cared enough about them to teach them the true meaning of "freedom" or anything about Christianity.

Gawd makes Jesus weep every time I type a headline, too.

6. They're dropping like flies
Also they had the incident earlier in the week when a bunch of them bit the dirt from the heat waiting for our most glorious fuhrer.

9. Sheesh
If the Boy Scouts didn't hate America, Deity wouldn't punish them for their sins.

10. The weather has been changing...
getting more violent in recent years due to global warming. Maybe this is just not a safe time of year to have a jamboree in anymore.

12. So how come, when the Almighty does bad things, he/she
doesn't get credit? Just wondering. It's always "a miracle" when they survive being struck by lightening. Maybe the big guy's trying to tell them to be nicer to gays or something.
