Must see documentary!
Edited on Sat Jul-30-05 11:16 PM by FreedomAngel82
This is a great documentary. It's from SBS Dateline: The Objector and about a guy in the military who was jailed because he went AWOL. You can see it at http://informationclearinghouse.info/article9154.htm

You need real player. It's simply amazing. In this documentary the Lt or whomever (higher official) said anybody who went AWOL during a time of war was to be killed and it's the greatest crime. So why did George W. Bush get away for being AWOL?

5. The fresh Iraqi war quadriplegics looked about 12...
I couldn't believe how young the two at the rehab demo looked.

Very sad.

3. That was good indeed
what pissed me off were the "pro-war"lunatics who were fighting mad, saying "do you want us to lose this war"..I remember just 46 short months ago 911,there were no dems,no gopers,no independents we were "UNITED" in tragedy even I support war in Afghanistan as did 90% of America bush said,"wanted dead or alive" to osama, everyone was proud to be an American, flags everywhere,God bless America, the world was with us after 911...bush squandered that unity by turning his eyes on Iraq in early 2002...Dec 01' osama reportedly surrounded inside mountains of Tora Bora, what does bush do? Pulls them back, thats where i got off the Bush Crime Family Train..I dont support a war based on lies and neither does half of America...bush fooled me once on 911...bush wasn't going to fool me on march 19 2003..

4. Didn't fool me on 9/11! Not that I am any more perceptive than the next
person, but he has ALWAYS struck me as evil!

6. It's amazing how we've changed

And they were arguing with Iraq veterans too! Simply amazing. And there was one jerk who was talking about the guy who went AWOL because he didn't believe in the war and everything and that because he signed a contract he should've served and we don't have a draft in this country anymore. That guy really pissed me off. If he believed so much in the war why isn't he over there?! I thought it was sweet about the nine year old girl who wrote to the main guy while he was in prison cause she didn't want him to feel a lone.
