Bush's Shocking Plan to Invade the Moon
For all you "worm turns" folks out there, here's symptom of the decline and fall of the Bushies. I'm in the local convenience store, and take my guilty pleasure of looking over the Weekly World News cover. What do I see: a small side panel with a terrible picture of Bush, plus the headline:

BUSH's SHOCKING PLAN TO INVADE THE MOON

If it was the Onion, I'd say, "Yeah, funny as hell, but what else is new?" But the Weekly World News? Here it is:

Bush's senseless warmongering has made him a laughingstock.

1. LMAO: "Why he wants you to stay the hell out of heaven!"
I take it that's GOD's message to Bush!

This is the funniest thing I have ever seen!

I wonder if this is the same publisher who got the ANTHRAX attack in 2001?

It had to be a place that was utterly barren and defenseless.

4. actually the do want the moon......
As soon as nasa comes up with a cheap renewable way to get there. Not only for military purposes(and yes we will make up some excuse to undermine the treaty that is stopping us) but also for the mining of 03.

5. Silly Weekly World News. There's no oil on the moon.
If there were, we'd be up there already, and the State of the Union address would have made reference to green cheese and Tang as weapons of mass destruction.

:-)

9. The Enquirer put out an Enron magazine
A glossy magazine about the Enron scandal, with a well-written summary, facts about the key players, and of course lots of sleaze, gossip, and the like.

Isn't the Enquirer one of the most popular publications in America? Add the other tabloids like this one, and it seems a lot of Americans enjoy this "guilty pleasure".
