only on cable or a subscrption service. The FCC can't fine CNN. How CNN Reacts may come into play the next time its license is up, but they can't be fined.

7. CNN's satellite license is irrelevant re: content
The feds only allocate/broker satellite frequencies. The companys that own or lease the channels can do just about anything they want with them.

Cable is not yet under the decency thumb of the FCC, although some right=wing opportunists would like to change that. Write CNN directly.

6. FCC-Novak-CNN
If you are thinking about writing the FCC about Novak's role at CNN, don't bother. The FCC has the power to regulate non subscription over-the-air broadcasts only. It has no authority whatsoever over cable TV or satellite product.
