That is what I said in the email I just sent him!!! I said I had never seen his show and thought I would give it a try because I saw on CNN.com that he was going to actually show some real news! I was very interested in the story of Cindy Sheehan and that is why I tuned in. I told him he has no integrity with my family. To falsely advertise a promo using that "poor woman's" story just to get viewers was unforgivable....etc..etc.

so take it local..go local..i put a huge sign on my house..2 signs one covers one side of the house..so a local newspaper stopped yesterday and asked if they could come take pictures today..i said yes..and the reporter was here for 3 hours interviewing me today for an article to be in the paper next wednesday..go local people..i had all kinds of bumper stickers on my car in driveway..they even took pictures of the car..go for it..be our own media..i live on a vacation island..a summer island and my signs are getting honks all day..

the reporter was laughing how many honks i am getting while she was here today..get Cindys story out locally..you can do it..

Our tax dollars went to refurbish that place, to make it a secure residence. Our tax dollars are paying for his vacation. He is OUR president, he works for us. He is not a king or a god. He is our civil servant, our employee and damn it, it is time he realize it and the corporate media whores realize it.

The story is not going away; AP is reporting more on it this afternoon but the cable is in disarray hunting after tabloid stories to incease their viewship (The Nancy Grace effect) and shaking in their boots that Rove will make their lives miserable. Remember all that if and when Rove is wounded, B's numbers tank even more, and, voala, we have a free press again which has a backbone. Don't believe it for a moment -- it's only when they think it's safe.

When the American Public is through with them they'll wish they had Rove to contend with!

There is one show I watch faithfully - The Daily Show. I tune in to Countdown sporadically, mainly due to the fact that it comes on at 5:00 here, and I'm usually trying to put food on my family during his show. ;-) I try to catch the rerun later in the evening, but only after reading DU's reviews to determine if it's worth my time to tune in.

I'm so pissed at Rick Kaplan right now I think I'd spit nails at him if I ran into him on the streets. If CNN and MSNBC fold under the weight of their own stupidity, so be it.

esp. since the early reports were he was going to do it from Crawford and the whole show was going to be about that. So I don't blame you at all! And Jon Stewart is of course an absolute must! We cannot live or breath without him :)

pulled the plug on the Sheehan story is as big of a chickenshit as chimp is for refusing to speak with her.

just saying that I watch the show occasionally, and I tuned in tonight specifically to see that segment, and if she had to cancel an interview or they had to reschedule it, they ought to have at least acknowledged that on air and explained the change, since they advertised it.

Such as the run away bride mowing the lawn or my dreams examined. I do not care if the run away bride gets married or not. Know one cares. If I wanted to see a nut mowing the lawn I would go over to my neighbors house that has a vote George Bush sign still in his yard. So I already have a nut close by to watch mowing his lawn. If I wanted to have my dreams examined I would go and have them done by a professional. The only thing that gives me nightmares is you at this point. With careful thought you maybe able to help me. Stop airing meaningless programs. I pay my dish network company so I can see the NEWS. Now you could be the news if you would start airing it. What about the Cindy Sheehan story? She is a mother that is a true American. She has touched the hearts of America and abroad. Her braveness to stand up to this president is news in the own right. It is about one lady with the will to save lives of others through her own loss of her son.

I had thought from some of your previous reporting that you might actually be on your way to being a legitimate independent news person, rather than yet another cable news talking head. As a result, I was very disappointed to tune into today's show, expecting as per your webpage to see a live report from Crawford Texas on Mrs. Sheehan, only to find you leading with a 'breaking news' story about one escaped convict & his deluded wife. This 'event' may be mesmerizing Tennessee & Kentucky, but means very little to the entire US.

I hope that you will at least address on your show tomorrow why you chose not to go to Texas and cover the story of a brave woman who is trying to get the person who serves at the pleasure of the American populace to explain to her and the rest of us, why our children are dying in what will ultimately be judged as America's first folly of the 21st Century.
