but my favorite is.....

C.I.Agent-gate!

i like that one alot.

At this point, the moniker is immediately attached to even the silliest of "scandals," thus marginalizing it's impact. Frankly, it's become a cliché.

How about calling it what it is: Treason.

10. I started referring to it as "Wilsongate" a couple weeks ago, seen it used
numerous times since...but I imagine lots of other people had the same notion.
