He did say he loved the protestors for about a week, LOL. I think he's got a legitimate frustration--but Cindy is not his problem. Bush and the media are more of a problem for this guy than Cindy and "our" folks.

Let's be the Peacemakers and not react with the hysterics of Freepers. This is just an average joe who treasures peace and quiet, appreciates sunrises and is caught between a rock and a hard place.

I guess the brother in law won't be visiting any time soon. That was classic. I hope The Daily Show gets this.

Larry has (so-called) property 'rights' (so-called because they're actually entitlements) that include "peaceful enjoyment" which includes access and use without undue interference. The Camp Casey campers have civil liberties in the exercise of their human rights -- rights of petition, assembly, and speach. The former must give way to the latter only to the degree that reasonable public interests are honored.

It's not at all unusual that we witness collisions between the legitimate exercise of our human rights and the perception of an overly extensive entitlement stemming from property ownership. It's part of the subordination of humanity to the 'ownership ethic' (that once included slavery).

We will benefit greatly if we can find a way to take the highroad here.
