Budget deficit problems discussed by Bob Rubin, Warren Rudman,
and others at the National Press Club last night on C-SPAN. They blamed much of our problems on the Bush tax cuts, reminded us that we are lowest taxed of developed countries, predicted that Bush, if reelected, would likely do nothing about it, and spread lots of gloom.

I hope this message gets out to the sheeple. It is important for everyone who hates taxes to understand how serious this is, and that most of our taxes go to Pentagon for making weapons, etc. It's attack and spend, attack and spend with this admin. The spend part wouldn't be bad if it was spent on things that benefit us, like health care, infrastructure, etc. instead of on bombing brown people.

2. I get this felling we are in trouble
I see people spending money but alot comes from re-morg. of there homes.Alot of the men I know work for gov in a round about way. One works were they make guns for war.I see hairdresser leaving and looking for jobs. That means every day people have dropped that off things they can do. I have lost half my retirement income from my trust since Bush came into office. I have given my self 20 a month for gas. I will drop my newspaper and cut into my food bill. I cut my car ins down. I know people who take wellfare chidren and they get i/3 or what they did get. My daughter is in the home heath care, RN, and she tells me that has be cut why down. Looks like the country is slowing down.Maine anyhow.
