What The Hell??????????????

They are announcing that the Coast Gaurd in Seattle as well as TSA at Seat-Tac airport are ready to relax security within the next week or so......WHAT the HELL is that all about....If we feel that secure then why dont we leave Iraq......

Do you think the Feds are intentionally openning the door for something else like 4 years ago????? or are we really that much safer and secure.

4. A nuclear bomb on a plane? Could that be next?
I ordered some of those iodine pills by the way.

My husband said he is worried about me and that the pills are unnecessary...I guess I'll let him thank me later.

16. Just have some sort of emergency plan in place .................
3 days food/water stored in your car with walking shoes, blanket, etc. At home, shortwave radio and batteries, more food/water, flashlight, etc. Basic preparedness. Think about what you would do in various emergency scenarios. Then have a beer and relax. Odds are nothing will happen to you (this is how I get through the day in LA).

3. Sorry, I don't have a link but
my understanding is that they will no longer confiscate razors, nail clippers, and scissors from carry ons. They also might ease up on the "pat down" and shoe removal a bit. No big deal, IMHO.

9. Why now after all this time?
And still big on the whole "war" and everything? Something is up. I don't like it.

5. article
Believe it or not, you could soon seen people carrying knives onto planes again. The head of the Transportation Security Administration says he wants to allow razor blades, small knives, scissors and even ice picks back on planes. We visited Palm Springs Airport to see what travelers thought of the plan.

Over 2,000 Americans died in the September 11th attacks because terrorists used small weapons such as knives and box cutters to take over the planes that crashed into the World Trade Center. Now, after years of being banned, the new chief of transportation says he wants you to be able to carry those kinds of 'weapons' on airplanes once again. cont.

12. Can you give more details?
Where did you hear this? Was it on the nightly news? If so what channel? Most stations post their stories on their websites. How about a link? TIA!
