I think we need to bring this into the present tense.
BUSH IS LYING, TROOPS ARE DYING

Little Boots continued to lie yesterday, claiming that Hussein wouldn't allow inspectors back in and that's the reason we went to war.

Yeah, but it's not as "catchy". It has eight syllables whereas "Bush
Lied, Troops died" has only four. And given Americans' obvious
cognitivelimitations, the more-accurate version may be too difficult
to be rapidly comprehended.

(I'm only half-joking. On a bumper sticker, the shorter version
would be much more legible.)

Howzabout "Bush Lying = Troops Dying"?

As we type our threads, some poor kid from Des Moines or Detroit or Biloxi or Bakersfield may be getting ambushed and slaughtered to death because george bush IS lying. Let us also keep in mind that christian conservative moral absolutists DON'T CARE if our kids are getting killed because they think george bush is an honorable man.
